PT1000 are high-temperature stainless steel sensors with high accuracy that you can now use on your E3D V6 HotEnd instead of a thermistor or thermocouple. PT1000 can measure higher temperatures than thermistors – up to 500 ° C. The PT1000 sensors are also very easy to use because they have a metal cartridge construction that is secured with a set screw and no longer contains glass fibre hoses or clamping washers. The PT1000 sensor fits into the E3D cartridge heater blocks.
PT1000 are similar to thermistors because you don’t need an amplifier board.
